I messed up.... BIG TIME
So its a long story, but also an embarrassing one.
It all started like a normal day. I got to the shop and was given the normal duties of cleaning and organizing the vases. Once the designers were done with the daily deliveries, I was given the keys to the company van, and the company credit card to purchase goodies at HEB for a gift basket. I went on my way and delivered two arrangements to St. Josephs in Bryan. It took me a little longer than normal, but once I was done I hoped into the van and went to the next stop. It wasn't until 30 minutes later that I noticed that the company credit card was no longer in my back pocket. I PANICKED.
I ran to the van and checked every nook and cranny in the entire thing. I was so freaked out and upset that I lost their credit card. I knew I had to call Liz and let her know what had happened. I was so embarrassed and was constantly apologizing. Being the nice person she is, she reassured me that it "happens all the time", which I think its totally wrong. I retraced my steps, but still came out with nothing. I eventually went back to the shop with my tail between my legs and was prepared for a punishment. Elizabeth was super nice and very understanding about the situation. Praise God she was so nice about, because I was really expecting to not be asked back the next day.
Lesson Learned...
Always put the company credit card in your wallet people!
